Major Job boards around the world such as Monster and CareerBuilder have seen job advertisements declining in recent years due to the presence of LinkedIn. It obviously offers a very effective way of finding talent yet at a very affordable cost. Though it has had a negative impact on Job Boards; in the long run, they still play an important role as an advertising platform.

HiringBoss Jakarta Seminar, 13th March 2013

On Wednesday the 13th March, HiringBoss hosted the first event in a series of educating seminars planned in the coming months for the HR community in Indonesia. We wanted to introduce an awareness and sense of urgency to the new workforce conditions and HR revolution that are coming to Indonesia.

It was a great turnout on Wednesday, with a mix of 37 corporate HR professionals, recruiters, head hunters, job portals and industry professionals. BNI, Indocement, TUV Rheinland and other participant were happily sharing their experiences and perspective regarding the needs of HR implementing technology to enhance their performance. Many discussed how they are trying to transform their HR systems and processes or are concerned about internal mobility but there are very few vendors in Indonesia, besides HiringBoss, that can solve these concerns for businesses.
