HRBoss Snags Silver Stevie Award for ‘Software Company of the Year’ at The 2014 International Business Awards
on 27 Aug 2014
Cloud-based software provider, HRBoss, receives a second Stevie Award for reinventing Tech for HR, Recruiting and the C-suite.
HRBoss, the go-to workforce technology provider for businesses in Asia, was announced as a Silver Stevie Award winner in The 2014 International Business Awards (IBAs) in the category of ‘Best International Computer Software Company’. This is the second time that the SaaS software company has scooped a Stevie Award so far this year, following their recent Gold award for ‘Technology Company of the Year, Singapore’ which they were awarded in April 2014. It rounds up a growing stash of accolades for HRBoss who have acquired a diverse mix of domestic Asian and international customers since their launch in 2011, including Nissan, KFC, Changi Airport Group and the Economic Development Board of Singapore.
“We congratulate all of the Stevie winners in this year’s IBAs,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “The quality of entries we receive improves every year. This year’s judges were rewarded with the opportunity to review more than 3,500 stories of business achievement and innovation from around the world. We look forward to celebrating the winners’ achievements in Paris on 10 October.”
The Stevie Awards is widely regarded as one of the world's premier business awards. More than 3,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Website of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year and Executive of the Year, among others. Alongside HRBoss, this year’s winners included Virgin Group Ltd., Dell, Astrazenica, PepsiCo & AT & T Inc.
On winning the world’s most coveted business prizes, Bernie Schiemer, CEO & founder of HRBoss, remarked, “Today, more than ever, organisations across all industries are transitioning to ‘software in the Cloud’. Crucially with this move, companies need to know that they are working with a partner that not just talks the talk but walks the talk- that means delivering a real and measureable impact that is sustainable in the long-term and is backed up by knowledgeable local support. Too often, they are disappointed. At HRBoss, we’ve spent years engineering our multi-tenant software to tackle the challenges businesses in Asia face in terms of recruiting and workforce analytics head on”.
Schiemer continued, “HRBoss’ solutions help customers streamline their admin-heavy processes, reduce compliance risk, gain visibility into their employee landscape and ultimately increase profitability. Winning this coveted award is a clear indication that we are on the right path.“
The awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the Westin Paris – Vendôme Hotel in Paris, France on 10 October.
